Here’s a brief snapshot of Tiago’s hometown – Cuiaba. Let me know what you think!

Tiago had been fortunate. The streets of Cuiaba could be as dangerous as they were dusty and dirty. When gringos think of Brasil they picture rainforests flush with life, beach bundas glistening golden in the sun. Even the favelas have a glamour to them, violence and corruption set to a backdrop of beauty. An unfinished railway line intended for a disused stadium is a more common sight than a tourist in Cuiaba.
